The role of conscious architectural and environmental design in crime prevention

On the 7th and 8th of March the National Crime Prevention Council, the Lechner Knowledge Centre and the KultúrAktív Association organized an  international conference about the role of conscious architectural and environmental design in crime prevention within the project called ‘Safe City 1.0’.

Besides Hungarian experts, Gregory Saville founder and director of the International CPTED Association (http://www.cpted.net/) and Bo Grönlund, architect and urban planner, emeritus at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation also shared their thoughts.
