European Crime Prevention Award 2018 - Call for projects

The Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union has the honour to organize the exchange of crime prevention best practices around the EU under the auspice of the European Crime Prevention Award (ECPA). The ECPA has been, since the start of the European Crime Prevention Network (EUCPN), one of the essential events of the network and continues to showcase the success of crime prevention throughout Europe.

The Austrian Presidency of the EUCPN will focus on crime prevention through community policing and the exact topic of this year’s ECPA will therefore be the following:

Community Policing is an important method to increase safety and security both objectively and subjectively – what is your best initiative to build up cooperation with your partners in terms of Community Policing?

Please send the projects for the ECPA in English to the EUCPN Secretariat (eucpn@ibz.eu), through your National Representative of the EUCPN. The deadline to submit the projects is 15th September 2018.
