Promising Crime Preventive pilot project kicked off in Kőbánya

The ’Shape your space ‘project follows the CPTED principles and involves locals – the municipality, schools, etc.- in the reconstruction of a local park in the 10th district of Budapest.

The project is a milestone for the National Crime Prevention Council that has included CPTED, and the role of conscious architectural and environmental design in its crime prevention strategy and annual action plans.

The project closes on the 31st of August 2019 and aims to promote the importance of cooperation between local stakeholders while shaping the public areas since it can facilitate the rise of the subjective safety among residents.
